Job Summary: The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for updating and maintaining financial data in accounting software, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions, and providing customer service related to accounting functions. This role includes updating daily transactions, schedules, and general ledger entries related to revenue receipt and reporting. The position will also involve processing compensation, managing sensitive financial information securely, and serving as a key resource for internal and external stakeholders by providing necessary financial data and reports. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality while providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. Essential Duties Data Management and Accounting Entries: Update and maintain financial information in the accounting database software, ensuring accurate and timely entry of daily transactions, schedules, and general ledger entries related to the receipt and reporting of revenue. Customer Service and Support: Provide customer service regarding accounting-related inquiries. Supply information and respond to requests from management, company associates, and financial professionals in a timely and professional manner. Compensation Processing: Process scheduled compensation, ensuring accurate calculations of management fees, service fees, and other compensation-related entries, in line with company policies and standards. Data Security and Confidentiality: Manage sensitive financial data with care, ensuring the security of all information, files, and records. Implement procedures to protect confidentiality and safeguard financial records in compliance with industry best practices. Education & Experience The ideal candidate would possess an entry - intermediate level of experience, typically around 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance or related field. Compensation: $38,000-$43,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
