Reporting to the Manager, Finance, you will demonstrate being a strong agile team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also demonstrate the ability to manage projects, propose and implement improvement opportunities and dealing with complex reconciliations. Being autonomous and having strong organizational skills are essential to this role.
What you’ll do here:
Support all areas of banking operations accounting, compliance, and reconciliation processes.
Complete balance sheet reconciliation analysis for critical accounts. Prepare corresponding journal entries.
Co-lead Oracle ERP Cloud projects and enhancements related to Finance Operations including general ledger, cash management and account reconciliation.
Identify, collaborate and implement efficient processes to support cross functional transformation initiatives.
Support Manager in maintaining a robust internal control environment ensuring proper processes are in place. Participate in updating processes and control documentation.
Act as a point of contact for Audit requests, internal and/or external.
Your Skills and Experience
CPA accounting designation – is required
Minimum 5-years work experience working in an accounting or financial operations – is required
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion and ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) is an asset
Creative problem solver, self-motivated, driven and willing to learn
Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Can interact with various people at all levels of the organization, including management and external stakeholders
