Job Description

Position will be filled by a professional candidate with strong work history, seeking a long-term career with opportunity for advancement. Scope of responsibility will expand beyond Accounts Payable as candidate masters tasks.

Ensure payables are processed timely and coded accuratelyManage email timelyPrepare vendor reconciliationsAssist in month-end close process including but not limited to expense accrualsManage AP inquiries effectively and timelyIdentify process improvements to increase efficiencyEnsure payments are made according to company policyEnsure accuracy of vendor payments, including setup and validation of vendor banking informationAssist, as needed, with other duties to support the organization

QualificationsMinimum 5 years Accounting experience requiredMust understand Accounting terminologyMust be able to use MS Excel effectivelyMust be motivated with a desire learn, grow and lead others
