Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in the retail industry, based in Southlake, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, such as processing and auditing invoices, maintaining customer credit records, and managing account payable and receivable activities. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle accounting tasks such as coding and integrating weekly invoices • Maintain and update individual credit card records on a weekly basis • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics for loading and posting card activities monthly • Process and pay assigned mileage reimbursement files weekly • Review and audit expense reports in Workday for accuracy and compliance with the applicable policy • Handle accounts receivable tasks such as cash receipt and application • Deliver invoices for assigned clients through multiple portals and emails • Perform audit/review steps prior to delivery • Input AR invoices into accounting software (MS Dynamics) • Prepare reimbursable expense trackers and convert them into billable invoices • Utilize Excel for heavy computation and data management tasks • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must for the role. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Experience with Ceridian is highly desirable. • Proficiency in Concur is necessary for the role. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial. • Experience with Accounting Functions is required. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. • Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. • Knowledge of Auditing procedures is important. • Familiarity with Billing Functions is a must for the role.
