Description We are looking to bring on board an Accounting Specialist in Sherman Oaks, California. This role involves a variety of accounting duties, including managing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. This is a long-term contract role that offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Handle and process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently • Keep up-to-date and accurate customer credit records • Use accounting software systems effectively to perform daily tasks • Utilize ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, Concur, and Netsuite for various accounting functions • Perform accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks as required • Conduct regular auditing to ensure accuracy of financial data • Manage billing functions and resolve any discrepancies • Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline business processes • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action on any issues. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems such as NetSuite, ADP - Financial Services, and Concur • Experience with Ceridian and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems • Familiarity with accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to conduct audits and manage billing functions • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • High level of integrity and trustworthiness • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
