Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Haverhill, Massachusetts. In this role, you will work within the finance industry, providing critical support in managing and organizing our company's financial data. You will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, from handling payroll to conducting insurance audits. Responsibilities: • Accurate processing and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable • Regular data entry tasks to maintain and update financial records • Efficiently handling HR-related tasks such as payroll auditing and calculating overtime • Conducting regular insurance audits to ensure compliance and accuracy • Management of employee benefits, including 401 k’s and medical benefits • Utilizing various software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for different financial tasks • Contributing to the hiring process by preparing hiring packets for new employees • Overseeing the invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate billing • Regular review and monitoring of customer accounts to ensure financial health • Maintaining a keen eye for detail in all tasks, ensuring high accuracy in all financial records.
