Description We are in search of an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Napa, California. This role is part of our finance team and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Ensure the maintenance of precise customer credit records • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status • Facilitate the smooth operation of automated AP processes and data entry • Track and match data through software, ensuring accurate financial records • Learn and understand our financial system to better control vendor traffic • Collaborate with other members of the finance team during restructuring • Assist with audits by providing necessary AP support • Contribute to the development of more efficient account reconciliation processes and interdepartmental transparency. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable. • Familiarity with Ceridian and Concur software. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems. • Ability to perform a variety of Accounting Functions. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Proficient in Auditing procedures and practices. • Ability to manage Billing Functions effectively. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
