Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive)
Individual must be able to perform the essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Using documents to verify, record, and process transactions.
Maintaining accurate and complete records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information.
Assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers.
Participating in ongoing education opportunities to learn about industry trends and developments, current financial legislation, and company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
Any combination of requirements, which provide knowledge and abilities necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities, will be considered.
Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
0–1-year progressive experience in accounting or related field preferred.
Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
Skilled, diligent researcher
Committed to providing efficient, reliable support to accounting department members, other departments, and external parties.
Excellent personal computer skills and the desire and ability to work with multiple MRC computer applications.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Valid Driver’s license with the ability to meet the MRC Global vehicle policy and the ability to travel as needed.
Additional Qualifications
Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently to communicate with others; to understand and interpret safety instructions; and to respond to inquiries.
Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines & expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
