Accounting Specialist

As an Accounting Specialist, you will perform daily accounting tasks, generate invoices, cash receipts, project reporting, project system setup and maintenance, and other special projects as assigned. You will also collaborate with other accounting staff and departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 

To be successful in this role, you should have: Three to five years' experience in accounting Accounting degree preferred Experience in architecture/engineering/construction environment preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Prepares monthly invoicing and related reports. Assists Project Managers with client invoicing questions and collection. Researches cash receipts, coding, and posting of receipts. Prepares remote bank deposit. Assists Project Managers with project coordination to include system setup, project maintenance, and document management. Review monthly financial project reporting to ensure accuracy for revenue recognition and client invoicing. Provide back-up assistance to other accounting technicians. Assist with audit preparation. Other duties may be assigned.
