Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Grant Accounting Specialist in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting operations in our organization. Responsibilities: • Processing and managing grant tracking to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Overseeing rent supports and ensuring timely payments. • Handling invoicing duties, including credit card reconciliation. • Conducting payroll operations in an efficient and timely manner. • Utilizing accounting software systems QuickBooks to manage financial transactions. • Performing various accounting functions including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). • Managing billing functions and ensuring accuracy in invoices and payments. • Processing checks and ensuring their proper distribution. • Handling credit card accounting and reconciliation tasks. • Engaging in grant accounting, ensuring all grants are accounted for correctly. Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting Software Systems is required • Microsoft Excel skills are required • Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required • Proficiency in Billing Functions is necessary • Experience in Check Processing is preferred • Experience with Grant Accounting is required • Knowledge of Credit Card Accounting is essential Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
