Enabling global flight, with passion. **Position Summary** As an Accounting Specialist in US Shared Services, you will be responsible for cash applications of all banking related deposits and applying those deposits to the customer accounts for all US based business units. You will also perform customer compliance checks for new customers based on requests from various business unit representatives. You will be collaborating closely with the line of business operational staff, finance staff, and multiple finance managers/directors. This is a hybrid role, working at least three times weekly from the Teterboro office, at the Teterboro airpark. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range will be as follows: $25.00 - $29.80 hourly, equivalent to $52,000 - $62,000. **Minimum Requirements** + Must be able to pass a ten-year background check and pre-employment drug test. + Must be at least 21 years of age. + High School diploma or equivalent + Two years or more of accounts receivable and/or collections experience + Able to meet deadlines and demonstrate effective follow-up on assigned tasks. + Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Excel to create and maintain various schedules/reports. + Must have experience in Microsoft Office, and Word to produce emails and professional letters. + Operational knowledge of Outlook is required. + Must be accurate and proficient in data entry. + Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently. + Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages. **Main Responsibilities** + Download, organize, & reconcile daily US bank deposit information from banking portal. + Perform daily cash applications to customer accounts in ERP system. + Post cash deposits made at remote FBO locations. + Assist with monthly FBO credit card reconciliations. + Prepare and distribute weekly unapplied cash reports. + Communicate with internal and external customers via phone, email, etc. + Review customer compliance forms for completion and accuracy. + Perform customer compliance checks and determine next steps. + Prepare and post manual journal entries in accounting system as needed. + Ensure compliance with internal controls + Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested. + Other duties may be assigned, as needed **Desired Characteristics** + Autonomous, well organized, detail oriented, and accurate. + Able to work under pressure and multitask ensuring the results are of highest quality and accuracy. + Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives. + Familiar with aviation terminologies and flight system. + Experience overseeing preparation of financial reports. + Strong personal and ethical values that align with Jet Aviation values. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Intuitive and thinks outside-of-the-box to provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and efficiencies. + Strong personal and ethical values that align with Jet Aviation values. **Additional Details** We offer a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package designed to support your well-being and career growth.
