Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Temecula, California. This role is critical in our team, focusing on maintaining the accuracy of our financial data and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable and receivable processes. Responsibilities • Execute accurate and timely processing and verification of invoices, adhering to company policies • Handle account reconciliation tasks monthly, ensuring accurate accounts receivable/payable and prompt resolution of discrepancies • Utilize advanced Excel functions to optimize financial data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation procedures • Develop and manage spreadsheets for monitoring and analyzing financial data • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address payment discrepancies and rectify issues • Assist in the implementation of month-end closing procedures, which include journal entries and account analysis • Offer general support to the accounting team, including involvement in ad hoc tasks and projects as needed • Ensure the preparation and execution of payments are accurate and follow a strict schedule • Monitor customer accounts for any necessary action and resolution of customer inquiries.
