Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Specialist based in Mooresville, Indiana. This role is within the accounting industry, where the selected candidate will be a vital part of our team, managing a range of accounting functions and using various accounting software systems. Responsibilities • Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. • Keeping customer credit records up-to-date and precise. • Resolving customer inquiries promptly. • Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required. • Managing accounts payable and receivable functions. • Performing regular audits to ensure all financial transactions are accurate. • Overseeing billing functions and ensuring all invoices are sent and paid on time. • Using Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data. • Helping with other accounting tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems • Solid understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Auditing procedures and principles • Capable of performing Billing Functions efficiently • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of accuracy and attention to detail • Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines • Detail-oriented certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
