Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Specialist for our client based in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our finance team by managing various accounting functions, utilizing accounting software systems, and conducting auditing activities. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Implementing and managing accounting software systems to streamline financial data processes • Executing various accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and receivable • Utilizing Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis • Conducting regular auditing activities to ensure financial compliance and accuracy • Leveraging analytical skills to interpret financial data and make informed business decisions • Regularly interfacing with financial services like ADP and Ceridian to manage payroll and other financial operations • Using Concur for travel and expense management to ensure accurate financial tracking • Monitoring and maintaining accurate financial records for review and analysis Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) • Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Auditing procedures • Strong Analytical Skills • Experience with Sage Accounting Software • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Robert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
