Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounting Specialist, based in Pineville, North Carolina. This position is in the manufacturing industry and it offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The primary function of this role involves various accounting activities including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing functions. Responsibilities: • Conduct research to resolve issues in AP and billing • Process AP and AR transactions accurately and efficiently using accounting software systems • Maintain accurate records of all accounting activities • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on the account status • Perform critical thinking tasks to improve accounting processes and procedures • Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools for managing business processes • Prepare and process journal entries as needed • Use ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, Concur for different financial transactions • Perform auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance • Ensure all billing functions are carried out effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential. • Familiarity with Ceridian is necessary. • Knowledge of Concur is a must. • Understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required. • Ability to perform a range of Accounting Functions is needed. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. • Auditing skills are a must. • Capability to handle Billing Functions is required.
