Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Mountain View, California. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be tasked with managing various financial transactions and processes within our organization, which is part of the broader financial industry. The role is based in a detail oriented office environment. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process invoices as part of our financial operations • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately • Perform regular audits of financial transactions and records • Resolve customer inquiries related to financial transactions • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations • Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to accurately process invoices • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other accounting software • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proven experience in a similar role is desirable • Ability to work independently and as part of a team Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
