Job Description

Support the organization with accounting principles, including debits, credits, depreciation schedules, and bookkeeping. Handle invoicing for insurance, taxes, utilities, rent, and more. This role requires experience and/or education in accounting and involves supporting rental property management.

ResponsibilitiesSupport the organization with accounting principles, including debits, credits, depreciation schedules, and bookkeeping.Handle invoicing for insurance, taxes, utilities, rent, and other expenses.Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.Provide support for rental property management tasks.Compose and write letters as needed.Essential SkillsBasic accounting knowledge, including debits, credits, and depreciation schedules.Strong computer skills, specifically within Excel (ability to create spreadsheets from scratch, create and update formulas).Experience and/or education in accounting.Self-starter and independent worker.Ability to think outside the box and offer solutions.1-3 years of experience in property management or administrative functions.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious banking knowledge (e.g., loan processing, teller) is helpful but not required.Strong customer service skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role requires working on-site 100% of the time, with hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The position is located in Albuquerque, with the potential for permanent employment after a 3-month contract-to-hire period. The company has 18 different affiliated companies, and this role will involve working with the commercial and residential property management side of the business.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bernalillo, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $38.00/hr.
