Temporary position$17.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Assist with processing invoices accurately and efficiently, verifying approvals and correct codingAssist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsPrepare and review financial reports and presentations for accuracy and completenessAnalyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-makingAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesCollaborate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax preparationPerform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustmentsEvaluate existing processes to identify areas for improvement or optimization and develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes & requirementsMonitor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and develop dashboards or reports to track business performance over time*Temporary only for 3 months
Accounting Specialist Qualifications:
Prior accounting or bookkeeping experienceHigh accuracy in work and meticulous attention to detailStrong ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepanciesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficientlyExperience with Agile methodologies can be a plusApplicant may be subject to a background check*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
