FM Boiler Re, a division of FM, is seeking a full-time Accounting Specialist position in our Malvern, PA headquarters. For nearly 140 years, FM Boiler Re has been a leading provider of equipment breakdown reinsurance and today has more than 250 treaty partnerships across North America.

Responsibilities

Responsible for processing all aspects of the Accounts Receivable function for FM Boiler Re.

Responsibilities include:

Partner Company premium reconciliation, issuance and tracking of monthly payments/, claims payments, etc.Track, post and reconcile all payments received for reinsurance policy premium.Create discrepancy reports on reinsurance premium and claims payments.Communicate effectively with agents and reinsurance accounting personnel to ensure that payments are made in a timely manner and that all necessary paperwork is rec'd.Prepare monthly reports on status of aging Accounts Receivable invoices.Successfully onboard new Partner Companies ensuring that accurate and timely data is received.Make recommendations for required procedural changes to ensure greater efficiency and effectiveness in overall accounting oversight.Perform an active role as a servicing team member by participating, where directed, in each phase of the Partner Company Servicing Process, attending Partner Company Assessment meetings, and providing input and feedback as appropriate. Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred!

Experience: 5+ years of general office experience.

Skill/Knowledge:Intermediate strong analytical skillsIntermediate knowledge of MS Excel and WordExcellent oral and written communication skillsIntermediate math skills
