Summary

As an Accounting Specialist I, you will play an essential role in the accounting functions of the organization. This position is expected to process all rental fleet additions and disposals timely and accurately. Attention to detail, flexibility, and multitasking are essential for this role. This position does not require travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage additions to the rental fleet to ensure they are added accurately and timely and post necessary journal entriesManage disposals from the rental fleet to ensure they are accounted for accurately and timely and post necessary journal entriesFollow company processes and procedures to obtain proper approvalsMaintain SOX compliance in all processesProvide support to internal and external auditors as it relates to these daily responsibilitiesAs this position becomes more efficient and proficient, will also consider assigning further responsibilitiesSkillfully use computerized accounting and financial management systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficient with the Microsoft Office SuiteStable work historyDetail-oriented
