In this role you will get to complete a broad range of difficult assignments requiring specialized accounting training and experience. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Audits accounts and other financial information for completeness, accuracy and legitimacy of charges, and conformance with accounting procedures. + Generates and analyzes periodic financial reports, making recommendations regarding status of reserves and assets. + Closes the general ledger for each period, prepares financial statements, and completes a detailed analysis of account balances. + Prepares selected tax returns, financial reports, or other reports for government agencies, clients, or senior management. + Develops and recommends improvements to accounting methods and procedures for area of responsibility. + Provides guidance to lower-level Accountants and Accounting support personnel. + Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business (or equivalent) and typically 3+ years of related work experience. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Requires a proficiency in standard accounting techniques and principles, strong written and oral communication skills, and a proficiency in PC software packages typically associated with accounting.
