Thinking beyond opportunity and reward, at Flowserve, we are inspired by working together to create extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world better for everyone! **Role Summary:** As a GL Accounting Supervisor, you will work with a team of accountants in assigned US GAAP accounting, including lease accounting, financial statement reporting and analysis, consolidation, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other ad-hoc assignments. You assist with leading the team in month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit processes. **Role Responsibilities:** + Supervise team of accountants in centralized lease accounting function and joint venture accounting. + Perform day-to-day accounting, month end closing processes, reporting and account reconciliations under US-GAAP. + Support site accounting teams in reporting/loading financial and non-financial information, including updating GL-to-Consolidation Tool. + Produce divisional analytics. + Support internal and external audits. + Assist with balancing team workload and ensuring month-end deadlines and other key deliverables are met for the team. + Help develop an environment and culture that supports the attraction and retention of quality talent. + Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls. + Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous process improvement. + Work cross functionally to ensure end-to-end processes work within the assigned region or sites. + Maintain a good relationship with site leadership to ensure a healthy service level. + Other duties as assigned **Required Experience/Skills:** + BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience + US GAAP experience + ASC 842 experience + Financial statement analysis experience + Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people. + Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills. + Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues. + Strong Excel and Microsoft Access skills. **Preferred Skills/Experience** + Licensed CPA. + IFRS knowledge preferred + SAP GL and SAP BPC preferred Flowserve offers competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits on day 1, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, 401(k) and many other excellent benefits! **Req ID** : R-11056 **Job Family Group** : Finance & Accounting **Job Family** : FA Accounting EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
