Oversee accountability for day-to-day accounting processes and systems, ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial information.Be responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of financial reporting Assist with the maintenance and improvement of the internal control environment including general adherence and knowledge of SOX controls and external audit procedures, as applicable.Ensure daily management activities are conducted in compliance with internal and external control requirements.Adhere to the accounting principles and practices and regulatory environment and ensure these principles and practices are applied in the daily work.Delegate, review, approve, and on occasion, may prepare requests for ad hoc analysis of various types of financial information utilizing operational and financial analytics as appropriate for the situation.Provide direct supervision, leadership, and mentoring to accounting staff.Supervise individual contributors.Responsible for driving the engagement and culture of the team.Understand the financial strategies, plans of the business, and serve as consultant to management on processes with financial implications, financial plans, and business performance.Lead team and possibly cross functional teams in identifying opportunities to improve operating efficiency, controls, implement new technologies, develop solutions, achieve consensus for change and drive projects through implementation.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields.3 years of leadership experienceAbility to drive consistent execution and strong interpersonal skills.Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with both clients and colleagues in a fast-moving professional team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including advanced Excel knowledge.Ability to manage your work efficiently.Strong financial and analytical skillsMeticulous attention to detailWhat makes you stand out:
