ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

 

Responsibilities: 

       Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank

reconciliations)

Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated recordsAssist in the monthly and quarterly close processProcess daily invoices of pig related expenses for paymentOverseeing daily inventory, balancing of heads, feed, etc. Maintain and report Union Insurance deductions monthly Set-up and track Capital Projects Prepare and oversee daily reconciliations of MRO inventories through Excel spreadsheetsReport weekly inventory reconciliation for products        Other duties as assigned  

 

Qualifications:  

       Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written and verbally)        Excellent computer skills required, including Excel       Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data       Attention to detail and accuracy        Team management skills       Ability to prioritize work        3-5 years of Accounting experience       High School Diploma or equivalent required       Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field preferred        Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 

As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
