Description Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a great organization that is looking to dd an Accounting Supervisor. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the full-cycle accounts payable and payroll processes and offering guidance, training, and performance reviews to our dedicated team members. Key Responsibilities: + Administer semi-monthly payroll, preparing manual payroll checks when required, and making payroll funding requests + Preparation of account reconciliations as well as monthly and yearly accruals + Prepare and file tax reports and forms + Assist in the preparation of tax return and audit schedules + Provide coverage or support for other staff, which may include activities such as acting as a reviewer for processes, supporting the separation of duties, and accounting for grants and scholarships. + Supervise staff, including review of timesheets, maintaining adequate coverage, and ensuring training and cross-training of tasks meets all necessary deadlines + Guarantee accurate general ledgers, vendor and employee records by reviewing staff entries before posting and managing processes for error correction Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in accounting + 3 – 5 years of increasingly responsible accounting experience, specifically in accounts payable and payroll. + Minimum two years of experience supervising others + Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
