You will play a meaningful role in driving flawless financial operations and ensuring compliance, all while encouraging a collaborative and inclusive team culture. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and analysis + Ensure al journal entries and account reconciliations conform to our internal procedures + Ensure compliance with corporate policies regarding general accounting + Balance Sheet account reconciliations through Blackline + Other miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned + Review weekly accounts payable check runs + Clear intercompany balances monthly **Education** + College Degree in Accounting **Experience** + 3+ Years of accounting experience preferred + Proven analytical and problem-solving skills + Effective oral and written communication skills + Hyperion, SAP and Blackline Systems experience is a plus + Public accounting and experience in a large, global organization is a plus **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Ability to accurately process high volumes of work + Prioritize duties, meet deadlines, and work independently + Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers Thermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.
