D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Accounting Support. The right candidate will perform various clerical level accounting with supervision from the Controller, Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Support the Controller, Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager in the execution of their responsibilities including division/corporate interaction, data entry, transaction posting, initial account analysis and reconciliationPerform various clerical accounting functionsPrepare and enter general ledger accounting entries Review and perform basic analysis on general ledger accountsEnter Accounts Payable invoices and schedule for paymentCorrespond with vendors to correct Accounts Payable invoicesPerform Accounts Payable invoice reconciliationSubmit and secure approval for employee expense statements/reimbursements for paymentInput permit account entriesPerform review and maintenance for vendor insurance and set-upResearch all utility bills to verify the company owned property at the time of billingResearch past-due invoicesEnsure digital records are processed correctlyConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtime

Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school a plusJD Edwards experience a plusKnowledge of general accounting functions preferredExperience with data entry a plus
