Description:
Develop and implement procedures required to support the Oracle ERP and EPM applications in accounting. Own and maintain application configuration of Oracle ERP and EPM ensuring SOX change management controls. Maintain chart of accounts and hierarchies in EDMCS and account combinations in ERP. Support the accounting team in the development and maintenance of Oracle reports created in Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Smart View, Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI). Coordinate, test, assess and assist in the deployment of new functions and features in the monthly EPM updates, quarterly ERP updates and any emergency updates. Serve as accounting department contact for Oracle issues and questions encountered by the GL, AP, FAH, cash management, projects, fixed asset, FCCS and ARCS users. Troubleshoot ERP and EPM issues as necessary and escalate items requiring IT involvement and follow through to ensure resolution. Other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as an accounting/finance systems administrator. Experience in Oracle. Progressive experience in financial systems (GL, AP, AR, cash management, fixed assets, treasury). Ability to remain organized while working on multiple projects with competing priorities. Team player with excellent data management skills, highly proficient in excel, word, power point. Ability to adopt to changing business needs and requirements. Ability to work independently. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to train accounting users on software applications and changes to software applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
