CVP subsidiary Titan-Auxo, LLC is seeking a Junior Accounting Technician to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) operations. This role will provide professional accounting and financial management services, working in concert with other accountants and analysts.
Operating Hours and Available Shifts: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Monday through Friday
Location: 5th Ave. and Roosevelt Rd., Building 37 NW Dock 18, Hines, IL 69141
Responsibilities Serve as a team lead or senior team member, working in concert to provide professional accounting and financial management services to Federal, State & Local, and other Government clientsFunction as a subject matter expert to efficiently reconcile and remedy fiscal discrepanciesAssess products and procedures for compliance with Government standards and financial management regulationsSupport the maintenance and reconciliation of financial records and accountsHelp prepare financial reports and statements in accordance with federal regulations and standardsAssist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends and discrepanciesSupport budget preparation and monitoring processesContribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controlsAssist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsHelp maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliationsSupport financial audits by gathering and preparing requested documentationCollaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reportingAssist in the preparation of ad hoc financial analyses and reports as neededContribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial managementUnderstanding of the U.S. Standard General Ledger, Federal financial statements, and Federal budget executionKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and federal accounting regulationsAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsProficiency in financial management software and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and high degree of accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsTyping proficiency – minimum 45 words per minuteAdditional Requirements:
