We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Accounts Clerk / Collections Officer to join our team for a 6-month fixed term contract.  Based in Bayswater, Victoria and reporting to the Accounting Team Leader, this role allows you to contribute to a role that offers work from home flexibility, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a global organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Master Data preparation: -            . Creating workflows on Customer & Vendor applications             . Validating Company details to relevant agencies             . Liaising with internal staff in regard to account creations             . Liaising with potential Customers/Vendors in regard to applications             . Liaising with our Master data team overseas as well as local Management
Cash Collections: -            . Liaise with external Customers in collecting receivables(invoices) due on accounts including telephone and email correspondence            . Simple reconciliations of Invoices and payments/adjustments            . Participate in internal meetings regarding Collection status.            . Assistance in allocation queries for Unaligned deposits received in Bank             . Provision of documents to customers upon request i.e. invoices/statements
This role will be suitable to an individual looking to develop their hands on accounting and collections experience.  System training is provided in the role, but any previous experience with accounting systems would be advantageous, but not essential.  You will be highly organised and have strong verbal and written communication skills, and your ability to build sound working relationships internally and externally will ensure your success in this role.
