\nPosition Statement
\nThe core responsibility of the Accounts Executive, Income Audit is to check that all charges raised by each department have been properly posted to guests accounts or otherwise accounted for, the correct procedures have been followed and that all daily income that should have been received by the hotel was received.
\nWhat will you be doing?
\nAs Accounts Executive, Income Audit, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nAudit the daily hotel revenue figures and reconcile against the various reports timely.\nAudit the daily General Cashier’s Report and followed up with the Managers-in-Charge.\nEnsure voucher, entertainment dockets and officers’ checks are controlled as per the policy.\nReview reasonableness of allowance and various room reports to ensure appropriate authorisation.\nPrepare daily revenue report for the management.\nEnsure all paid out vouchers have proper authorization, signatures and backup.\nTo be fully conversant with the hotel Manual Contingency Plan in case of computer system failure and ensure that all manual procedures are followed and adhered to.\nConduct monthly house float and surprise outlet audits.\nConduct periodic room and carpark audits. \nReview and suggest improvement in work processes in order to enhance Policies & Procedures. \nHandle all requests and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.\nFlexible in relation to working hours, especially at month end.\nPerform any additional tasks assigned to ensure that the department functions smoothly.\nMinimize the risks of accidents and workers compensation costs by ensuring the correct work practices are used and that the area is safe from hazards.\nWhat are we looking for?
\nAn Accounts Executive, Income Audit serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n\nDiploma and above, in Accounting discipline. \nPrevious experience in an operational accounting role.\nAt least 1 year of working experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in Income Audit function.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications.\nGood communication and analytical skills.\nAble to work in high volume environment with tight deadlines.\nSystem skills in OnQ, and Agilysys will be an advantage.\n\nWhat will it be like to work for Hilton?
