Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. This role is essential in supporting the company’s financial operations and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities + Process high-volume invoices and review them for appropriate coding, approval, and payment authorization. + Prepare, verify, and reconcile invoice payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. + Resolve discrepancies and communicate with vendors to address and resolve any issues or questions related to payments. + Maintain accurate accounts payable records and support month-end and year-end closing processes. + Assist with weekly and monthly reporting on accounts payable activity and vendor account reconciliations. + Collaborate with the finance team to improve payment processes and systems as needed. + Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations. Requirements Requirements + Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. + Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role. + Skills: + Proficiency in accounts payable software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office, particularly Excel. + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
