In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth processing of accounts payable functions for our client. Key Responsibilities: + Invoice Processing: Review, validate, and process incoming invoices in an efficient and accurate manner. + Payment Management: Prepare payment batches, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers, ensuring timely disbursement to vendors. + Vendor Relations: Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive working relationships. + Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and investigate any outstanding balances or unresolved discrepancies. + Expense Reporting: Verify employee expense reports for adherence to company policy and ensure proper coding and approval. + Recordkeeping: Maintain organized records of accounts payable activity, including invoices, receipts, and communication logs. + General Ledger Support: Assist with coding invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts and provide support during month-end close. + Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in processing transactions. Requirements Qualifications: + Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. + Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred (but equivalent experience may be considered). + Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP accounting systems + Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills. + Soft Skills: Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-focused mindset Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
