Description We are in search of a detail-oriented Accounts Payable individual to join our team. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry. As an Accounts Payable specialist, your main focus will be to handle AP-related projects and maintain the general ledger, providing a crucial staffing buffer as we expand our team. Responsibilities: • Handle AP-related projects with efficiency and accuracy • Support the team in catching up on AP tasks • Maintain and update the general ledger as required • Take an active role in the staffing buffer process as we expand our team • Provide necessary support to the finance team as needed. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role • Proficiency in general ledger software • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with data entry and administrative tasks related to Accounts Payable • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Capacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure • Willingness to stay updated on new accounting procedures and software.
