Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Accountant to be a part of our team in Dallas, Texas. The role primarily involves handling high-volume invoice processing, managing internal account payable issues, and dealing with vendor inquiries. As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate customer credit records and taking appropriate action based on account monitoring. Responsibilities: • Handle high-dollar and high-volume invoices on a weekly basis • Regularly check and handle ACH as required • Resolve any disputes or problems within the Accounts Payable area • Address vendor inquiries regarding payment status and resolve vendor-related issues • Prepare Out of Pocket Reports and daily exchange rate reports • Organize billings to investors and third parties • Assist with annual audits by preparing 1099 and 571-L reports annually • Use accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, and QuickBooks effectively for data entry and invoice processing • Utilize Microsoft Excel for account reconciliation and other accounting tasks. Requirements • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance - preferred client may review someone with Associates Degree • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an account payable (must have multi entity accounting here) • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with Check Runs procedures • Ability to accurately perform Coding Invoices • Proven skills in Data Entry • Experience in Invoice Processing • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Oracle software is a plus • Knowledge of PeopleSoft software is advantageous Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
