Job Description
The AP Analyst is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling vendor statements, managing the AP inbox, and ensuring timely communication with vendors regarding payment statuses. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of invoices efficiently.
Responsibilities
+ Accurately input vendor invoices into the AP system, processing an average of 100-200 invoices daily during high season.
+ Regularly reconcile vendor statements to confirm all invoices are received and processed.
+ Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding payment statuses and resolve any discrepancies.
+ Assist in gathering and verifying required information for new vendors to facilitate their setup in the AP system.
+ Monitor and manage the AP inbox, ensuring timely responses and proper organization of vendor communications.
Essential Skills
+ Accounts payable experience (2+ years)
+ Proficiency in processing invoices
+ Experience with purchase orders
+ Strong skills in reconciliation and invoice processing
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
+ Knowledge of three-way matching, coding, and invoice reconciliation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
