Are you an experienced Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Assistant looking for a new challenge?

Are you process driven and love to problem solve?

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a well-established client within Peterborough.


Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (can be flexible) No weekend, No bank holidays

Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience

Duties:

High volume of matching, checking and coding of purchase invoicesProcessing of staff expense claimsSetting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account detailsReconciliation of supplier statementsEnsure compliance with all legal, taxation and accounting standardsScheduling BACS payments to suppliersPoint of contact for all purchase ledger enquiriesMaintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and staff in other departmentsSupport the wider Finance Team in any ad hoc tasks as required
