Job Description Summary:

The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for the review and processing of invoices in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including invoice and expense processing, data reconciliations, and various other transactional issues.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
• Process invoices and expenses for payment
• Respond to vendor payment inquiries
• Research account discrepancies
• Assist accounting team with annual audit preparation
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends relative to the A/P function
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical skills required
• Accurate with high volume data entry
• Ability to analyze and process Excel spreadsheets
• Attention to detail

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required or Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Experience
1 - 3 years experience in accounts payable or related role


Additional Job Description:

This is a hybrid role and will require you to be in the office 1 day per week. Experience preferred with Unanet.
