Accounts Payable Associate

We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.  This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.    Position Summary: The Accounts Payable position is responsible for maintenance of general accounts receivable and reports. People or Process Management Responsibilities:  None Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: + Receive and process invoices for payments to suppliers and inter-company invoices + Generate check run weekly to pay all vendors + Interface with internal and external customers, at all levels of the organization + Assist with the monthly reconciliation of AP + Generate receivable billings to recoup shared expenses; maintain invoice logs + Ensure that daily invoices and credits processed are properly updated to the accounts payable system + Review and maintain the received not vouchered (RNV) journal in a current status + Resolve invoice pricing and quantity discrepancies with appropriate parties in a timely manner + Process T&E checks + Review and reconcile supplier statements as needed + Maintain department key performance measurement data as required + Support all Shared Service employees in meeting team objectives + File AP documentation as required + Any other special projects and duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience: + High School diploma or GED + 1-3 years of recent Accounts Payable experience + Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel) required ; online workflow process experience preferred + Excellent organizational and follow-up capabilities + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment + This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test Preferred Skills and Experience: + College degree + Online workflow process experience preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
