The **HFC** serves as the central hub for all insurance accounting and servicing teams at HUB International. By performing a diverse range of departmental functions, they ensure HUB meets its fiduciary responsibilities to clients, mitigates risk, and delivers on committed service level agreements.
**About The Position**
Our **Accounts Payable Associates** are specialized by department, contributing to the core of our successful processes and workflows. Every transaction they review, research, and complete plays a vital role in protecting what matters most to our clients. Collaboration and support are at the heart of our teams. This position is perfect for individuals who love working with numbers, handling transactions, and resolving inquiries, much like roles in banking and billing.
**What you’ll do:**
· Accurately apply fundamental accounting procedures
· Efficiently process and manage allocated functions and assignments
· Handle invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently
· Keep detailed and organized records of transactions, ensuring accuracy in all documentation
· Promptly address inquiries from partners, brokers, and carriers
· Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to create and manage documents, reports, and emails
· Provide additional assistance in various projects and initiatives
**Required/Preferred:**
· One year of experience in banking, finance, billing, accounting, or related service fields
· High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications or degrees are a plus
· Exceptional teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
· Highly adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving organization
· Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly
· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 programs
