Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in DePere, Wisconsin. The role will not be remote and will focus on managing financial obligations and ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. The primary responsibilities will include accounts payable invoice verification and data entry, handling payments in an organized and timely manner, and providing support to the Accounting Department. Responsibilities: • Verify and process accounts payable invoices with precision and timeliness. • Manage payments, ensuring they are organized and made within appropriate timeframes. • Collaborate with account receivable clerks and other team members to resolve account issues when necessary. • Provide comprehensive support to the Accounting Department, contributing to its overall functionality. • Execute basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and processing the mail. • Handle communications with customers and vendors via phone, email, and in-person. • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) processes • Experience in handling Check Runs • Capability to code invoices accurately • Strong data entry skills • Proficiency in Invoice Processing • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
