Accounts Payable Clerk
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk. The position is based in Santa Rosa, California, within the Healthcare/NHS industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial records. Responsibilities • Accurately reviewing and coding an average of 100 invoices per week. • Setting up new vendors and managing existing vendor relationships. • Analyzing and reconciling invoices to vendor statements. • Posting journal entries to keep financial records up-to-date. • Reviewing and coding credit card expenses as part of financial management. • Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Sage Intacct, and bill.com. • Providing efficient and accurate data entry services. • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as required. • Processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in the role of Accounts Payable Clerk or similar position within the Healthcare/NHS industry • Strong knowledge and practical application of Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) • Proficiency in Check Runs and Coding Invoices • Demonstrated skill in Data Entry and Invoice Processing • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Sage Intacct software in a professional setting • Experience with bill.com for business finance operations • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Strong organizational and time management skills • Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information • Relevant certification or qualification in Accounting, Finance or related field is desirable.
