Accounts Payable Clerk
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Broomfield, Colorado. The successful candidate will play a key role in our team, handling tasks such as account reconciliation, processing checks, coding invoices, and data entry. This position is based within the industry and requires specific skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications to ensure efficient operation. • Maintain and update customer credit records regularly for accuracy. • Handle all account reconciliation duties to ensure all accounts are up-to-date. • Efficiently process check runs to ensure timely payments. • Code invoices accurately for correct classification and recording. • Perform data entry tasks for maintaining and updating databases. • Process invoices effectively to ensure accurate financial records. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and data management. • Operate Oracle software for various accounting tasks. • Use QuickBooks and SAP for financial management and reporting. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices • Strong Data Entry skills • Familiarity with Invoice Processing • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience with Oracle software • Knowledge of QuickBooks • Familiarity with SAP software • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous • Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures.
