Description Our acclaimed client, based in San Diego, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic and progressive team. We are searching for an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to help with the management of the company’s financial obligations. You will be responsible for ensuring vendor invoices are correctly processed, maintaining accurate records of payments, and tracking company expenses. Responsibilities: + Process, verify and reconcile incoming invoices. + Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment. + Print and distribute checks as required. + Prioritize invoices according to payment terms. + Track expenses, process expense reports and implement payment controls. + Maintain vendor relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving any discrepancies. + Assist in month end closing. + Maintain confidentiality of organizational information. Requirements + High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field is a plus. + 1-2 years of experience working in accounts payable. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel. + Familiarity with accounting software systems. + Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills. + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
