Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Dorchester Massachusetts. The role involves managing accounts payable, reconciling accounts, and providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. This is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle the accurate and timely processing of invoices daily. • Oversee the daily management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. • Conduct account reconciliations regularly and meticulously. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for data entry and management. • Perform check runs and prepare checks. • Code invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close the monthly books. • Respond to all vendor inquiries regarding finance. • Prepare analysis of accounts as requested. • Assist in month-end closing activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with Check Runs • Ability to perform Coding Invoices • Proven expertise in Data Entry • Proficiency in Invoice Processing • Proficient with Microsoft Excel • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High degree of accuracy and efficiency in work • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field would be advantageous.
