Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Newberg, Oregon. In this role, you will be part of a team that manages the accounts payable function in the hospitality industry. This involves handling a high volume of invoices, ensuring timely payments, and supporting month-end processes. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy in coding and data entry • Conduct weekly check runs to maintain timely payments to vendors • Carry out account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions • Support the month-end closing process, assisting with necessary tasks to ensure timely completion • Communicate effectively with vendors and managers across different areas for smooth workflow • Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel for managing accounts payable activities • Adhere to established workflows and ensure transactions are completed within the specified timeframe • Handle any customer inquiries related to accounts payable in a timely and professional manner Requirements • 2+ years of experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Proven proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Ability to perform Check Runs • Expertise in processing and coding Invoices • Strong Data Entry skills, specifically 10-Key By Touch • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Knowledge of Sage 100 software is strongly preferred • Attention to detail and accuracy • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
