Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team for a position in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for high-volume accounts payable processing, vendor and general ledger analysis, supporting Shared Services Department and utilizing intermediate technical skills. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage high volume accounts payable processing effectively • Conduct comprehensive vendor and general ledger analysis • Provide support to the Accounting Department in various tasks • Develop and maintain detailed and accurate reports • Utilize intermediate technical skills to streamline processes • Ensure efficient data entry and invoice processing • Utilize Microsoft Excel and ERP system for various tasks • Ensure clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks • Apply analytical skills to resolve issues and improve processes Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices • Proficiency in Data Entry and Invoice Processing • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with ERP systems, ie NetSuite, Great Plains, SAP, Oracle, etc • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Capacity to solve problems and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. **All candidates must undergo drug and background screening for consideration Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
