Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in Spring, Texas for an Accounts Payable Clerk proficient in accounts payable and purchase order management. The Accounts Payable Clerk involves being an integral part of our team, working in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. You will be tasked with managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, from purchase order to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies, and handling administrative tasks. This position will also be responsible for answering the phones (very low-volume) and greeting visitors (maybe 2 to 3 visitors per day)
Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk:
• Manage all procedures relevant to accounts payable, from purchase order to payment.
• Match, batch, and code invoices; ensure compliance with company policies.
• Prepare batches of invoices for data entry.
• Manage the weekly checks run; prepare vendor checks for mailing.
• Process and reconcile credit card bills, employee expense reports.
• Answer, screen, and transfer inbound telephone calls professionally.
• Manage vendor relationships and inquiries - assist as necessary in resolving any issues.
• Greet and assist visitors with a professional and hospitable approach.
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, SAP.
Must have experience with Pivot Tables
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar
• Demonstrable experience in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices procedures
• Proficiency in Data Entry and Invoice Processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience using QuickBooks and SAP software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high volume environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required
