Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Thousand Oaks, California. As part of our team, you will be integral in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of payment requests, managing vendor invoices, and maintaining our accounts payable records. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our finance department. Responsibilities: • Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring all necessary details such as account numbers, Federal ID numbers and authorized signatures are present • Handle purchase orders, correcting any errors in pricing, sales tax, or shipping/handling charges • Verify and process expense reports for payment, maintaining records of incurred expenses • Maintain and oversee accounts payable records, supervising the scanning of all files • Manage sales and use tax requirements on paid invoices • Communicate with various departments to provide and receive information, responding to questions and inquiries from employees and vendors • Review requests for payment to assure accuracy and completeness • Perform a variety of analysis and reporting for accounts payable • Enter approved check requests into the computer system • Handle any other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) • Proven experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices • Strong data entry skills • Solid track record of efficient Invoice Processing • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with Oracle and QuickBooks • Experience with SAP • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Excellent organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to handle confidential information • Strong problem-solving skills • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
