Provide full-cycle accounts payable support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and payment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Review all invoices for mathematical accuracy, appropriate documentation, and approvals. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and exceptions. Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with the company reimbursement policies. Matching of invoices and subcontracts to purchase orders. Ensure accurate data entry into the accounting system. Prepare and process the Weekly and Bi-monthly check disbursements. Prepare and upload Positive Pay file to the bank for check disbursements. Set-up and maintain vendor and employee payment files, including management of W-9 forms. Work with supervisor to develop cost effective methods of accomplishing specific functions. Prepare special reports and complete other projects as directed. Support documentation requests for internal audits. Establish and maintain records of transactions where follow-up action is required and recommend action for closing. Other duties may be assigned. Job Specifications Experience with ERP software required. Viewpoint Vista Construction software a plus. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Understanding basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is preferred. Knowledge of general construction accounts payable, auditing, and invoicing a plus. Strong attention to detail necessary. Accurate and efficient keyboarding. Good written and oral communication skills essential. Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work assignments. Proactive work ethic. Accountability and Measurement Partner with others in the department to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed. Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers outside of department and vendors.

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
